26th CSIET Annual Conference
October 28-30, 2010 - Nashville, Tennessee
This year marked the 26th CSIET Annual Conference which was held in Nashville, Tennessee on October 28-30, 2010. Nearly 160 particpants attended the three-day meeting which consisted of workshops with informative topics focusing on community best practices, legislative initiatives and school outreach opportunities. Session topics included “Darkness to Light Pre-Conference Workshop”, “Advocacy & Federal Budget Update”, “United States Department of State J Visa Session”, “Untangling the Social Web", "International Member Accreditation", "Local Representative Screening Workshop”, "Conducting & Evaluating Criminal Background Checks", and “Host Family Screening & Orientation Workshop.” Several of the presentation materials can be accessed through our “Members Only” website or by clicking here.
