Borderless Friends Forever Foundation promotes world peace by cultivating opportunities for cultural and educational exchanges. These exchanges allow people to learn more about each other’s core values. We bring the international traveler and the host family together to create meaningful relationships through which we discover and celebrate our differences and similarities. Our incredible team has a collective passion for international exchange and more than 30 years of experience in the field.

Dedicated community advisors, regional support specialists, and regional directors work closely with host families, high schools, and students to ensure the success of our programs. Community advisors recruit and screen host families and supervise the participants throughout the program. Regional support specialists and regional directors provide support to all stakeholders.

Academic Program – United States – We offer semester and academic year programs to students ages 15 – 18. We screen students thoroughly to help increase the likelihood of success for all participants. Our students complete an application process that includes a written application, transcripts showing above-average grades, an English proficiency test, teacher/school recommendations, photos, an essay, and parent and student interviews. Once accepted, students must attend pre-departure and post-arrival orientations to help prepare them for the experience. Our team teaches students how to live in the American culture, understand the program rules and regulations, and learn to make the most of their experience.

Host families are also carefully screened and monitored during a participant’s stay. Once selected for program participation, BFF host families participate in an orientation to learn how to successfully live with a person from another culture, how to parent another parent’s child, and how to help resolve conflicts that may occur. Our team maintains close contact with all participants to help everyone have an incredible exchange experience.
