We are excited to announce the theme for CSIET 42nd Annual Conference: United in Purpose: Adapting for the Future.

Focus:
  • Strengthen Partnerships
  • Support Students
  • Embrace New Technologies

After a challenging year for so many of us in the international student exchange community, we’re looking forward to an important opportunity to come together, reconnect, and look ahead.

This year’s conference is being shaped to create space for meaningful conversation, practical learning, and connection across the CSIET community. We recognize there are still difficulties ahead, which makes coming together as a community more important than ever. There is tremendous value in listening to one another, sharing perspectives and experiences, strengthening relationships, and thinking collectively about where we go from here.

We know this has been a challenging year. We also know that the strength of our community has always come from the people within it: the organizations, schools, volunteers, educators, families, and professionals who continue to show up for students and for one another.

Our conference is an opportunity to do just that: to reconnect, listen, learn from one another, strengthen our relationships, and move forward together.

We hope you’ll make plans to be there. Your participation matters. Your perspective matters. Your voice matters. The conversations we have and the path we build together will be stronger because you are part of them.

We look forward to seeing familiar faces, welcoming new ones, and spending meaningful time together in October.
