Each year, the Council on Standards for International Student Exchange (CSIET) brings together representatives from J-1, F-1 and Outbound programs at the secondary level, as well as vendors offering services to these vetted organizations in-person. Though location varies by year, the CSIET annual conference is located in the Untied States.

The CSIET International Symposium aims to address timely important topics involving the international student exchange industry. CSIET brings together experts in the field and interested stakeholders from all over the globe to learn and engage with one another about preferred practices concerning the relevant topic at the time. This international event is conducted in English and takes place outside the United States.
