Rotary Youth Exchange Southeast, Inc. (RYESE) just completed an exciting rebranding in 2021 and was formerly known as Rotary Youth Exchange Florida (RYEFL).
Rotary Youth Exchange Southeast is the cooperative effort of the Rotary districts and Rotary clubs throughout most of Florida, Grand Bahama Island, Commonwealth of the Bahamas, and the Atlanta and Southern area of Georgia, offering full-year exchanges for inbound and outbound students. Rotary Youth Exchange Southeast works with Rotary partners in over 30 different countries, and together with its member Rotary districts and clubs, selects and prepares high school students for their exchange years abroad and makes host family and school arrangements for incoming students.
Internationally, Rotary Youth Exchange dates back over 80 years, and annually offers opportunities to more than 9000 teenagers around the globe. Rotary International’s commitment to promoting world understanding and peace fits perfectly with its aim of providing community and global service, all of which is ideally represented in its Youth Exchange program. Rotary International maintains a certification program for all districts that participate in Youth Exchange, to ensure that the programs are run with efficiency, responsibility, and care. Rotary Youth Exchange Southeast and all our international Rotary exchange partners are properly certified by Rotary International.
For our inbound students, RYESE offers a wonderful experience, no matter which part of our region that they may be hosted in. An orientation weekend brings the entire organization together in August, and Regional gatherings throughout the year are arranged in each area.
Rotary Youth Exchange seeks out the best candidates for the inbound programs, students who will accept the role of international ambassador and seek ways to serve their communities and the world through their exchanges.
