In another example of how CSIET is reaching out on behalf of its members, Executive Director Chris Page recently attended Study Travel Network’s Alphe Conference in London, August 29-September 1. Chris met with current CSIET members and 17 international agencies, all of whom work with secondary school exchange programs (J-1, F-1) from the United States.
Discussion topics ranged from promotion of mental wellness to feedback on the challenges and successes of the 2023-2024 placement cycle. Chris also took part in the annual GAELA (Global Alliance of Education and Language Associations) meeting, where he introduced CSIET to its vast network of international education associations.
