CLS IDIOMAS

It all began in Madrid, back in 1985. The dream of two friends came true when Juan and Vicente decided to turn their passion for exploring the world into a concrete project: they founded an organization dedicated to supporting young students during their exchanges abroad. Thus began the great adventure of CLS.

In the beginning, we focused on sending young people on exchange programs in the United States. At that time, it was the most popular destination for this type of program and… it still is! Every year, hundreds of young people choose to go to the United States to live their own American dream.

Over the years, our agency has grown and become more international. We are now part of the WEP educational group with representation in several European countries and even in Australia. The variety of programs has also expanded, offering a much wider range of cultural and linguistic experiences.

Academic Program – United States— International students ages 15 to 18 travel to the United States, attend school for one semester or a school year, and live with a U.S. host family. Students must complete an application in English, pass a language proficiency test, submit transcripts indicating above-average grades, write an autobiographical essay and provide medical information. Students are interviewed prior to acceptance. Upon acceptance, students are required to attend pre departure orientation. The orientation address issues such as American culture, English language, program rules, and how to make the most of the U.S. high school experience.
