MLC Edu is an international organization committed to promoting cultural exchange and personal growth through high-quality educational experiences abroad.

MLC Edu is dedicated to fostering cultural understanding between people from around the world. We believe that true awareness, respect, and openness towards others are developed through meaningful, personal interactions. For this reason, every MLC Edu program is designed to create authentic connections and transformative experiences.

MLC Edu offers High School academic year programs, both outbound and inbound, as well as short-term homestay and boarding school programs, all built around strong educational values, student well-being, and intercultural exchange.

A distinctive element of MLC Edu is the continuous care and attention dedicated to each student and family throughout the entire journey: from the very first contact and guidance phase, through preparation and departure, to ongoing support during the stay, and finally the return to Italy. Our team ensures a consistent, reliable presence at every step, creating a reassuring and structured experience for both students and their families.

Academic Year Program – United States

International students aged 15 to 18 travel to the United States, attend school for one semester or ten months, and live with a carefully selected host family. Students are required to complete an application in English, pass a language proficiency test, submit transcripts demonstrating above-average academic performance, and write an autobiographical essay. Both students and parents are interviewed prior to acceptance.

Upon acceptance, students participate in a structured preparation pathway, including five orientation meetings held between January and March. These sessions focus on American culture, language development, program guidelines, and how to make the most of the high school experience. In June, students attend a two-day orientation camp, designed to further prepare them for their departure by addressing cultural adaptation, program procedures, safety, and expectations for the academic year abroad.
