Cultural Academic Student Exchange, Inc. (CASE) is an educational organization that promotes understanding, respect, and goodwill among people of all nations through international student exchange.  It operates on the philosophy that people can make a difference and stresses family living as the heart of the learning process.  Because CASE is a smaller organization, it prides itself on its ability to provide personal attention to students, host families and representatives.

CASE offers an inbound academic year program for high-school-aged students from Asia, Europe and South America. The program’s goal is to facilitate academic and personal advancement through combining a family living experience with attendance at a U.S. high school.

CASE area representatives coordinate school acceptance, work with the high school to develop a program of classes and activities suited to the inbound student’s needs and aptitudes.  The area representatives also screen, and orient host families, actively monitor the program at the local level, and serve as liaisons with the national office.  Host families can select the student who is most compatible with their family.

Inbound Academic Year Program (full year or one semester) — Foreign students ages 15 to 18 travel to the United States for five to ten months, live with a host family, and attend school.  Area representatives provide supervision and counseling at the local level.  Orientations are provided prior to departure from the home country, upon arrival in the United States, and before returning to the home country.  Overseas agencies in partnership with CASE may charge further administrative fees in addition to the CASE fees.
