Exclusive VIP Southern California

Secondary School Academic Year Program

Students will enjoy attending our VIP CA Camp Welcome Weekend “Teen Academy” in beautiful Southern California to for their arrival orientation, learn Leadership Development, Teambuilding, acclimate students to the U.S. culture, review program regulations, review rules of the program, safety and prepare them for their academic year stay.  In addition, get real world experience that they can use when they return home. 

UCEUS year abroad experience strives to provide the opportunities for each student to know the joy of cultural exchange, helping others, to learn tolerance and kindness and to make new friends while sharing and participating in these activities.  Our Exclusive VIP Southern California Secondary School Academic Year Program offers a wonderful array of cultural community outreach programs, as in our own camp in the beautiful Barton Flats, Ca., Volunteer Events, Community activities, and more.

Now introducing our VIP Texas Program.  Where the West begins.  Learn the history of Texas with robust academic opportunities and amazing families to share the students culture with.

Now accepting ages 14 to 18 to attend school for one semester or ten months and will live with an American host family.  Students will complete an application (Dossier), English language proficiency test, submit transcripts indicating above-average grades, and write an autobiographical essay.  Students and parents are interviewed prior to acceptance.  Students are encouraged to take English, U.S. History, and Geography classes at their high school prior to departure.

Other gatherings, meetings & excursions will be conducted several times throughout the year.  They will address issues such as support, American culture, English language, Volunteer Opportunities, refresh program rules, and how to make the most of the American Family & High School Experience. 

Our Mission is to foster the international relationships between the youth of countries from around the world in a philanthropic organization committed to cultural exchange, community service, leadership development, and cultural experiences. 

The Purpose of UCEUS is to provide opportunities for students to become involved in global community service and to also enjoy their international relationships they develop in educational and cultural activities.

UCEUS students who indicate an interest in and commitment to global cultural exchange, community service, leadership development and cultural experiences, our organization strengthens the international relationships through this involvement.  The UCEUS Team is responsible, dedicated, skilled volunteers actively engaged in local communities.  We strive to make a change in our Global Community with our partners, students and our host families.

UCEUS is dedicated to the promotion of cultural understanding between people from around the world. It is the UCEUS philosophy that greater understanding and tolerance of others develops through interaction on a personal level. UCEUS offers a high school academic year inbound programs and reciprocal exchanges.

UCEUS operates through a network of area coordinators throughout Southern California, Texas and the United States who provide support on a local level.  Coordinators interview and screen host families and supervise all our programs during the students’ stay.  Community coordinators, as well as all parties concerned, prepare monthly reports on all students so you are able to get up to date information on your students during the duration of their program.
